Terms of Business

Global
All fees mentioned in this document are exclusive of VAT. These terms are in effect as of April 1st 2011 and apply to all business conducted with SlickTouch (company registration number specified to the right). Terms are subject to change.
Payment Conditions
SlickTouch will issue invoices for all non fixed-price projects on a weekly basis. All invoices must be paid before the respective due date. Payments may be made in cash at the SlickTouch office in Hradcanská or by bank transfer. Our office address and bank account details are provided at the top of all invoices. A weekly increase of 0.5% is applicable to the base amount for all overdue payments. If payment is received in part and if the payment due date is passed, a 5% interest will be added to the outstanding amount and will be appended to the following invoice. Failure to make full payment before the due date will result in an interruption of service and could lead to a court proceeding.
Recurring Fees
Hosting, Email and Content Management services are billed quarterly in January, April, July and October.
Website Development
A pre-agreed hourly rate applies for all regular website maintenance. This rate is subject to change with 14 days prior notification. Hourly maintenance is billed on a weekly basis and normal payment conditions apply. The following conditions apply for website maintenance. Failure to conform to these conditions could affect deadlines and costs.
- New requests must be submitted in a finalised state to requests@slicktouch.com. Requests must contain:
- A descriptive subject
- A detailed description of the requirements
- Documents or resources relevant to the request
- New requests will be handled within 48 hours from Monday to Friday.
- Clients are encouraged to schedule a call or meeting when submitting a large request.
- Time and cost estimates will be provided within a reasonable timeframe following the handling of a request.
- A website launch should be notified within 15 working days.
- All content must be provided withinin a reasonable timeframe before an implementation deadline.
- Client feedback must be prompt in order to meet deadlines.
- A deadline may not be a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
- A "Change Request" must be submitted in written form to amend an existing agreement.
- Completion dates and costs may change if requirements change.
- Services will be paused in the case of overdue payments.
- In case of overdue payments or unsigned documents, agreed deadlines may not be withheld.
- E-mail, telephone communication, meetings, project management and testing are billable.
- For a website to go live, all invoices must be paid and the release agreement signed.
- Communication will only be considered valid if received in written form (e.g. e-mail).
- Estimates provided by SlickTouch are for guidance only.
Fixed-price Agreements
Fixed-price agreements are applicable only when the scope of a project is predefined and signed by both parties. Fixed-price agreements may only apply to one-off projects exceeding the value of 50,000 CZK (2,000 EUR) excluding VAT. A deposit of fifty percent must be paid upfront before a fixed-price project can begin.
Copyright
A release of copyright can be claimed free of charge within sixty days of receipt of the final payment for the project in question. A fee of 2,000 CZK (80 EUR) is applicable for late claims (those exceeding sixty days). Copyright releases will be issued for graphics and Hypertext Mark-Up (HTML). Upon release of copyright all website graphics and HTML created for that project will be sent to the customer in digital format. SlickTouch reserves the right to continue to store released material on its systems.
Complaints & Refunds
Complaints may be submitted to complaints@slicktouch.com and will be handled within 48 hours. Refunds are available only on fixed-price agreements.
Opening Hours
SlickTouch is open Mondays to Thursdays from 09:30 until 18:00 and 09:30 until 16:00 on Fridays (GMT+1). Our offices are closed on national holidays.
Warranties and Liability
In no event will SlickTouch be liable to the Client or any third party for any damages, including any lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate Client’s website or any of its web pages.
